Chicago

After NYC we went to Chicago together with Luka's parents to visit long time family friends. It was really nice to be in one place for a bit longer and they were wonderful hosts. We also had a chance to see Luka's cousin. Chicago is a beautiful city but they don't call it windy for nothing :) We even had some snow on our last evening. Nice that the atmosphere in the house was so warm that we didn't freeze in the windy city:)

New York

As hard as it was to say goodbye to South America, we were looking forward to this great city, our friends visiting, meeting new friends and seeing Luka’s parents. From the jungle to a concrete one, it didn't take long to adapt :) We stayed 10 days in all and New York city rocks J. Katja was absolutely thrilled to see her girls and promised this would become (at least) a yearly thing J. After they left, we were lucky to be able to stay with Emily, who is a wonderful host and showed us the best of NYC. Then Luka’s parents came and we were showing them all the sights for the next three days.
