Indonesia

Arriving in Kuta, Bali from quiet north Australia is a shock. So many people yelling TRANSPORT and trying to sell you things (MASSAGE, SARONG,...) hundreds of motorbikes on roads...similar to some parts in South America. I guess we forgot about that in the last few months. Bole and Jana were waiting for us in Kuta (they took a month off:), it was great to meet friends again. Our Indonesian adventure didn´t start too well: Bole got bitten by bedbugs the second day, we didn´t like how many people try to squeeze money out of tourists here and we got robbed on Flores. Something that we had expected to happen in South America and not here. Indonesia and especialy Bali has many good things which can easily outweigh the problems we encountered: nice nature, beautiful underwater world (we saw sharks, turtels, stingrays, bumpheads,...), cheap and tasty food, same goes for massages last but not least smiles everywhere, people who hardly have money to live, smile at you like a small child. Something we think we´ll really miss back at home, where everything is SO important and needs to be done yesterday. On the other hand here everything is postponed till tomorrow, which can be annoying J enjoy the pics & cu soon.

welcome to Indonesia, unfortunately, sights like these are not uncommon
on the other hand sights like these are also not uncommon
